St Mary's Academy Gym Audio Upgrade

Ohm Systems and R&H Construction collaborated with St. Mary's Academy over the summer to transform the auditory experience on campus through a cutting-edge audio system installation. St. Mary's Academy, a Catholic high school with a rich history, and Ohm Systems, a leading low voltage electrical contractor, are joining forces to elevate the educational experience through advanced technology.

In the project:

JBL CBT-1000 column arrays with wireless handheld microphones, Bluetooth Aux Audio Input, and audio back feed from the video system provide precise audio coverage to the court.

Strategically placed 12” 2-way, white full-range loudspeaker systems enhance audio experience in the north and west bleachers during events.

A centralized head end rack houses a 32-channel digital mixer, wireless mic receivers, power conditioners, and dedicated amplifiers. This allows seamless management of audio sources, gain, and routing through an iOS app.

A high-power single 18" subwoofer with a dedicated amplifier deepens the audio experience, adding a rich, immersive layer to the campus soundscape.
