Matt Orem

Matt began his A/V career in the movie theater industry. Over the course of a decade he quickly moved from sweeping popcorn, to projectionist, to theater installer. He's done it all in movie theaters from installing the seats, screens, and popcorn poppers to the full gamut of sound, projection, and automation equipment. If it's a Portland movie theater Matt has probably worked on the projector or sound system inside it.

Outside of the A/V industry Matt is an active musician that has played gigs all over Portland. He plays styles ranging from funk and being in the live band behind a hip hop act, to indie rock and metal. He's also a passionate car enthusiast, owning several rare Mazda rally cars and is a navigator in the local rally racing scene.
