Avid Cider Co.

If you know anything about local cider, you’ll know the name Atlas as the Bend based Cidery. Now known as Avid Cider, Dan and Sam have opened their newest location as the anchor tenant of the Couch 9 building in the Pearl. We were very excited to work with them as some of us here at Ohm are big fans of quality craft cider!

After discussing the client’s vision for their build out, we designed audio, video, surveillance, and network systems that fit their specific needs. The audio system provides input feeds from a streaming music player as well as display and projector back feeds so no matter what the mood calls for, they’re covered. A combination of pendant speakers, surface mount speakers, and subwoofers visually blend in with the ceiling as well as provide great coverage for the space.

The video system is comprised of two displays with local cable feeds and a laser projector with cable and aux HDMI inputs. The projector can be viewed on a wall mounted 10’ backlit Slate screen from Screen Innovations.

The surveillance system can be accessed remotely to view cameras anywhere you have a data connection. And speaking of data, we worked directly with the IT and POS vendors to ensure their systems work at the highest performance they can.

The project was challenging at times (as most commercial build outs are) but we were very fortunate to have worked alongside a great architect and general contractor. Reid from Guggenheim and Rick from B&K were awesome to work with. The visual aesthetic is stunning especially at night, it’s certainly worth a look for yourself.
